2e8d3b9e10 rexcode/isa: display-side label naming — address order, offset-keyed names
Internal label ids are allocation-order handles: the encoder's creation
order, or the decoder's branch-DISCOVERY order (a loop's latch names the
header before an earlier forward target). Printing labels by raw id leaked
that accident into listings — label numbers appeared out of order down the
page — and the printers' `label_names: ^map[u32]string` keyed the caller's
names by those synthesized ids, which a decode consumer cannot know without
re-deriving them (the practical result: naming "label 0" could caption a
random interior branch target).

Naming is now derived at the presentation seam, shared by every ISA
(`isa.Label_Display` in isa/print.odin):

  - display numbers are assigned in ASCENDING ADDRESS order, so a listing
    reads L0, L1, L2 … top to bottom regardless of id allocation;
  - caller names are keyed by BYTE OFFSET (`isa.Label_Names`, with a
`distinct` Label_Offset key so an id-keyed map from the old contract
    fails to compile instead of silently mis-naming);
  - a named offset is guaranteed a label row even when no Label_Definition
    points at it — `names[0] = "factorial"` heads a function's listing.

All ten ISA printers (x86, mips, rsp, arm32, arm64, riscv, ppc, ppc_vle,
mos6502, mos65816) drop their per-printer offset_to_label maps and
write_label helpers for the shared display; each arch re-exports
Label_Offset/Label_Names beside Label_Definition. En route this fixes an
arm32/ppc/ppc_vle bug where passing ANY names map suppressed the default
L<n> label rows for unnamed labels. Decode-side id assignment is untouched:
the reloc round-trip contract (encoder ids surviving decode) and the
sparse-id padding it relies on stay exactly as they were.

daa5b7cb79 rexcode: add core:rexcode/ir — the IR API layer (no concrete IR yet)
A sibling to core:rexcode/isa for the intermediate representations (WASM,
SPIR-V, LLVM bitcode + the LLVM dialects AIR/DXIL). Holds the shared
vocabulary every IR package builds on, implements no specific IR.

Design stance (see docs/ir_design.md): keep the ISA layer's spirit, but
where IRs are structurally MORE uniform than ISAs (SSA + a type system
regularize the operand/module shape), the shared core is richer. ir/ owns:

  status.odin Error/Error_Code (shape-identical to isa.Error)
refs.odin Id/Ref/Ref_Space/Symbol_Table (the label analog: structural
id references, not PC-relative byte offsets)
types.odin Type/Type_Ref/Type_Kind (the type table -- no ISA analog)
  module.odin Module/Function/Block/Operation/Operand/Result/Dataflow
(the structured model; Operation = isa.Instruction + an
optional typed Result, opcode a u16 like Mnemonic)
  print.odin token kinds + options + num-fmt (parallels isa.print)

Three honest concessions vs the ISA API, made explicit not inert: a
structured Module replaces the flat []Instruction; a first-class type
system; id-based entity refs replace labels. The encode/decode verbs take
a Module and drop label_defs/resolve/base_address. Dataflow hosts both the
WASM value stack and SSA; the codec is pluggable (table for WASM/SPIR-V,
bitstream for the LLVM family -- AIR/DXIL are LLVM dialects, not peers).

Package compiles; a hand-built SSA module round-trips through the types.

95df04fbe1 rexcode: re-house ISA packages under core:rexcode/isa/<arch>
Move all ten ISA packages (x86, arm32, arm64, mips, riscv, ppc, ppc_vle,
rsp, mos6502, mos65816) from core/rexcode/<arch> to core/rexcode/isa/<arch>,
so the import pattern is now `import "core:rexcode/isa/x86"`. The shared
core stays at core:rexcode/isa.

Mechanical: relative `import "../isa"` / "../../isa" -> absolute
"core:rexcode/isa" (the only path that survives the move; the "../" and
"../.." self/generated imports move with their packages). build.lua now
builds paths as <root>/isa/<name>; stale `cd <arch>` hints in the verify
tools and the doc.odin paths updated.

WASM stays at core/rexcode/wasm for now -- it is an IR, not an ISA, and
will move under the forthcoming core:rexcode/ir once that layer lands.

All 10 arches gen/builders/check/test green; import core:rexcode/isa/x86
verified working; wasm still compiles.

4cc6977321 Merge origin/bill/rexcode: struct repack (#raw_union #packed), wasm arch
Merge gingerBill's latest into bill/rexcode. His changes: minimize the
Instruction/Operand structs across ISAs with packed raw-unions (+ the
compiler support for #raw_union #packed), the new core:rexcode/wasm arch
and wasm/module, encode() now returns (byte_count, ok) instead of a Result
struct, decode_one made public, and assorted formatting/inlining.

Conflict: arm64/tests/pipeline_smoke.odin CSEL test -- kept the generated
4-arg inst_csel(dst,src,src2,cond) (mnemonic_builders.odin is generated,
not from Bill's branch) and adopted Bill's (byte_count, success) encode
signature.

Required rebuilding ./odin from the merged source for the packed-union
syntax. Re-validated after the repack: regenerated all artifacts
(idempotent -- no spurious churn), all 10 arches gen/builders/check/test
green, and byte-compared the new arm32 BF + mips PS/MMI/DSP/R6 forms to
confirm no field truncation. arm64/arm32/mips still 100%.

1b72d425d4 rexcode: add typed per-mnemonic builders for all arches; CWD-independent regen
Add generated mnemonic_builders.odin (inst_<mnem>/emit_<mnem> typed overload sets) for arm32, arm64, mips, riscv, ppc, ppc_vle, rsp, mos6502 and mos65816, matching the existing x86 builders. Each is produced by a per-arch tools/gen_mnemonic_builders.odin that walks ENCODE_FORMS and maps operand types to typed params + op_* constructors.

Anchor every generator's output via #directory so regeneration is CWD-independent; previously the bare "mnemonic_builders.odin" path wrote to the current directory and misfired when run from the repo root.

Wire a --builders task into build.lua (folded into 'all', covered by --idempotent, enforced by the structural invariants) and document it in the README.

a4f08f8307 Load rexcode encode/decode tables from committed binary blobs
Each ISA's hand-written ENCODING_TABLE (the single source of truth) now lives
in a per-arch tablegen/ metaprogram that flattens it and serializes committed
binary blobs; the library #loads those into @(rodata) at compile time rather
than compiling a table body. No arch keeps encoding_table.odin or
decoding_tables.odin -- only a generated tables.odin loader and tables/*.bin.

* Two-stage, type-checked pipeline: tablegen Stage A emits human-readable
generated Odin, which compiles and serializes the blobs in Stage B.
* encode() goes through encoding_forms(m); decoders are unchanged apart from
x86's flattened 2-D index. Decode tables are byte-identical to the old ones.
* build.lua: a LuaJIT driver for the metaprograms, validations, and tests,
with cross-platform gating and a clear report.
* Docs refreshed; the obsolete forward-looking plan in cross_arch_design.md
trimmed to what was actually built.
* Attribution headers added to all rexcode source files; the generators emit
them so generated files keep them.
