neovim always uses encoding=utf8. Thus a lot of utf8 tests are just a
lot of tests. Meanwhile test_regexp_latin.vim is a bit of a lone child,
it can just run as a separate test without a shell layer (running it in
the same process as its utf8 sibling is not allowed
the unix.vim file was probably accidentally ignored at some point.
An actual invokation of nvim-under-test would in practice look like
["/path/to/neovim/build/bin/nvim", "-u", "unix.vim", "-U", "NONE", "-i", "NONE", "--noplugin", "--headless", "-u", "NONE", "--cmd", "set shortmess-=F", "-S", "runtest.vim", "test_arabic.vim"]
but -u NONE cancels out the earlier -u unix.vim
By now, too many tests rely on specific behavior from "NONE", so copy in
the useful parts of unix.vim to the cmdline again. also, some tests
conflict with `directory=.` (or even `directory=Xtempswapdir`) so don't use that.
`-U NONE` is dead code in Nvim, remove it.
Problem: tests: test suite may stop on error in gen_opt_test.vim
Solution: Use a different output file for log files (Muraoka Taro)
When running newtests, it may unexpectedly stop just before
test_options_all.
Cause: When generating the opt_test.vim file for test_options_all, the
failure is detected by the existence of test.log. Therefore, if a test
performed before test_options_all fails and test.log is created, it is
mistakenly thought that the generation of opt_tet.vim has failed, and
the test suite stops there.
So let's change the filename created when utils/gen_opt_test.vim fails
from test.log to gen_opt_test.log, so that it can be detected
independently from other test failures.

- Consistently use the variable CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE to select build type.

- Only rerun `lintdoc` if any documentation files has changed.
Problem: Elapsed time since testing started is not visible.
Solution: Show the elapsed time while running tests.
