54188fa242 fix(lsp): make LspNotify more robust #40332
Problem: LspNotify never passed a buffer when executing the autocmds, so
buffer-local LspNotify autocmd subscriptions didn't have the correct buf
in the event metadata. It was also wrapped in a schedule() so the actual
autocmd was delayed until after the event loop.

This could result in the wrong buffer receiving the notification if
multiple LspNotify autocmds with buffer filters were added. Only the
"latest" one would actually receive non-buffer-filtered autocmds, not
the matching one. It also caused listeners to receive the notification
"out of sync" with when the notification is actually sent. If a buffer
is being deleted (which fires a textDocument/didClose notification), the
notification is scheduled and fired after the buffer is already gone.

Solution: For LSP notifications that pertain to a particular buffer, set
it when executing the LspNotify autocmds so the callback functions that
are filtered on that buffer will get the correct notifications and the
metadata buf field will be correct. Additionally, there is no need to
wrap the LspNotify callback in vim.schedule when it can be called inline
when the notification to the rpc server is fired.

This is tested by removing now-unnecessary autocmds from semantic tokens
(InsertEnter and BufWinEnter should no longer be necessary now that
requests are fired by LspNotify). Without this fix, simply modifying a
buffer doesn't actually trigger LspNotify correctly, and the test for
that fails.

37eb1b9979 fix(lsp): send didOpen on save to all clients+groups #37454
Problem: _get_and_set_name edits the name for the whole group,
thus only one client per group gets the didOpen message.

Solution: move the logic to _changetracking and loop over every
client per group.

ce1154048b refactor: integer functions, optimize asserts #34112
refactor(lua): add integer coercion helpers

Add vim._tointeger() and vim._ensure_integer(), including optional base
support, and switch integer-only tonumber()/assert call sites in the Lua
runtime to use them.

This also cleans up related integer parsing in LSP, health, loader, URI,
tohtml, and Treesitter code.

165b099fa3 refactor(lsp): rename offset_encoding to position_encoding #31286
Problem:
LSP spec uses the term "position encoding" where we say "offset encoding".

Solution:
- Rename it everywhere except `vim.lsp.Client.offset_encoding` (which would be breaking).
- Mention "position encoding" in the documentation for `vim.lsp.Client.offset_encoding`.

5c33815448 refactor(lsp): replace util.buf_versions with changedtick (#28943)
`lsp.util.buf_versions` was already derived from changedtick (`on_lines`
from `buf_attach` synced the version)

As far as I can tell there is no need to keep track of the state in a
separate table.

a5fe8f59d9 docs: improve/add documentation of Lua types
- Added `@inlinedoc` so single use Lua types can be inlined into the
  functions docs. E.g.

  ```lua
  --- @class myopts
  --- @inlinedoc
  ---
  --- Documentation for some field
  --- @field somefield integer
  --- @param opts myOpts
  function foo(opts)
  end
  ```

  Will be rendered as

  ```
  foo(opts)
    Parameters:
      - {opts} (table) Object with the fields:
               - somefield (integer) Documentation
                 for some field
  ```

- Marked many classes with with `@nodoc` or `(private)`.
  We can eventually introduce these when we want to.

9f8c96240d refactor(lsp): resolve the config-client entanglement
Previously the LSP-Client object contained some fields that are also
in the client config, but for a lot of other fields, the config was used
directly making the two objects vaguely entangled with either not having
a clear role.

Now the config object is treated purely as config (read-only) from the
client, and any fields the client needs from the config are now copied
in as additional fields.

This means:
- the config object is no longet normalised and is left as the user
  provided it.
- the client only reads the config on creation of the client and all
  other implementations now read the clients version of the fields.

In addition, internal support for multiple callbacks has been added to
the client so the client tracking logic (done in lua.lsp) can be done
more robustly instead of wrapping the user callbacks which may error.
