b2bf7bcfb1 feat(cmdwin): implement cmdwin as a normal buf+win
Problem:

cmdwin (the `:q` cmdline buffer) has various limitations which require
special-casing all over the codebase.

Besides complicating the code, it also breaks async plugins if they try
to create buffers/windows after some work is done, if the user happens
to open cmdwin at the wrong the moment:

    Lua callback: …/guh.nvim/lua/guh/util.lua:531:
    E11: Invalid in command-line window; <CR> executes, CTRL-C quits
    stack traceback:
        [C]: in function 'nvim_buf_delete'
        …/guh.nvim/lua/guh/util.lua:531: in function <…/guh.nvim/lua/guh/util.lua:526>

Solution:

Just say no to "inception". Reimplement cmdwin as a normal buffer+window.

All of the cmdwin contortions (in both core, and innocent plugins) exist
literally only to support "inception": recursive
cmdwin-in-cmdline-things, like `<c-r>=`, `/`, search-during-substitute,
`:input()`, etc. So we just won't support that (though I have
a potential plan for that later, which I call "modal parking lot").

The benefit is that plugins, and core, no longer have to care about
cmdwin.

BONUS:
- mouse-drag on vertical separators works (it only worked for
  horizontal/statusline before)
- inccommand-in-cmdwin now works correctly, for free (thus don't need
  #40077).

POTENTIAL FOLLOWUPS
- Drop `CHECK_CMDWIN` ("E11: Invalid in command-line window"), allow chaos.
- Unify `BUFLOCK_OK` / `LOCK_OK` ?

DESIGN:
- Eliminate lots of C globals, `EX_CMDWIN`, etc.
- `text_locked()` no longer reports true for cmdwin.
- cmdwin = a normal window with 'winfixbuf', 'bufhidden=wipe',
'buftype=nofile'. Invariants come from those options rather than
  special cases throughout the codebase.
- `nv_record` for q:/q//q? calls Lua
  `nlua_call_vimfn("vim._core.cmdwin", …)`. No `K_CMDWIN`
  / cmdline-reader detour.
- `cedit_key` (`c_CTRL-F`) schedules a deferred event that calls
  `vim._core.cmdwin.open(type, content, pos)` and returns `Ctrl_C` so
the in-flight cmdline cancels. Reader state is not serialized; instead
the captured `(type, line, col)` is replayed via
`nvim_feedkeys(type..line.."<CR>", "nt", …)` after user confirms.
- On confirm/cancel: `<CR>` / `<C-C>` calls into Lua which closes the
  window and re-feeds the cmdline.

BREAKING CHANGES:
- Expression-register cmdline (`<C-R>=` from insert-mode) no longer
supports cmdwin. Same applies to `input()` / `inputlist()` (already
  covered by `text_locked`).
- Usage of cmdwin in macros/mappings will probably break (assuming they
  ever worked).

eb0bd381e5 vim-patch:9.2.0707: completion: popup misplaced when text before it is concealed (#40374)
Problem: When the cursor line has concealed text before the start of the
completion, the insert-mode completion popup is drawn at the wrong
screen column and the cursor no longer lines up with the completed
          text.
Solution: Record the concealed width before the cursor on its screen line in
a new `win_T` field while `win_line()` draws it, subtract it in
`pum_display()` to place the menu over the visible text, and redraw
the cursor line so `win_line()` corrects the cursor too.

4ab670399b vim-patch:9.2.0596: cmdline completion popup cannot be scrolled with the mouse (#40142)
Problem: In command-line completion with a popup menu ('wildoptions'

not be scrolled, unlike the Insert mode completion info popup

Solution: When the mouse pointer is on top of the info popup, scroll it
with the mouse wheel in command-line mode as well, without
          closing the completion popup menu.

202e17deef vim-patch:9.2.0346: Wrong cursor position when entering command line window (#39072)
Problem: Wrong cursor position when entering command line window
Solution: Add check_cursor() command to verify the cursor position
          (Hirohito Higashi).

When opening the command-line window with CTRL-F after typing a command
that fills the screen width, the cursor was placed past the end of the
line. Add check_cursor() after setting State to MODE_NORMAL so the
cursor is adjusted to the last character.

Also fix the cmdwin prefix character (e.g. ':') being drawn on wrapped
continuation rows. Draw an empty space instead so that the text
alignment is preserved.

c80bb5b63e fix(pumborder): wrong layout with pumborder=none #36208

072f126453 fix(ui): 'pumborder' parsing, shadow #36127
Problem:
1. Setting `pumborder=+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+` failed to render the custom
border characters correctly. The issue occurred in `parse_winborder()`
where it incorrectly used `p_winborder` instead of the `border_opt`
parameter when the option value didn't contain commas.
2. In `pum_redraw()`, calling `parse_border_style()` directly with the
option string failed to parse comma-separated border characters.
3. Missing documentation for PmenuShadow and PmenuShadowThrough
highlight groups used by the shadow border style.
4. Coverity reports CID 631420: passing WinConfig (480 bytes) by value
   in `grid_draw_border()`.
5. crash when using `shadow` value on pumborder.

Solution:
1. Fix `parse_winborder()` to use `border_opt` parameter consistently,
ensuring the correct option value is parsed regardless of which
   option (winborder/pumborder) is being set.
2. Update `pum_redraw()` to call `parse_winborder()` instead of
`parse_border_style()`, properly handling both predefined styles
   and custom comma-separated border characters.
3. Add documentation for PmenuShadow (blended shadow areas) and
   PmenuShadowThrough (see-through corners) highlight groups.
4. Change `grid_draw_border()` to accept WinConfig by pointer.
5. When the "shadow" style is used, no additional row and column offset
is applied, and the border width is reduced.

8ae9a44d38 feat(ui): support grid=0 in nvim_input_mouse #32535
Problem:
Multigrid UIs have to find out which window to send the input by using
the Nvim focus rules, which are not fully documented.

Furthermore,`getmousepos()` has several problems when multigrid is
enabled, with the main one being that screenrow and screencol are window
relative instead of screen relative, due to the fact that the UI don't
send any absolute coordinates.

Solution:
Allow passing 0 as grid to `nvim_input_mouse`, with absolute
coordinates, which lets nvim determine the actual window to send the
mouse input to. This works as long as nvim is in charge of the window
positioning. If the UI repositions or resizes the windows, it can still
pass the grid it determines like before.

c3c8d25293 vim-patch:9.1.1521: completion: pum does not reset scroll pos on reopen with 'noselect' (#34836)
Problem: When 'wildmode' is set to include "noselect", the popup menu (pum)
incorrectly retained its scroll position when reopened. This
meant that after scrolling down through the menu with `<C-n>`,
reopening the menu (e.g., by retyping the command and
triggering completion again) would show the menu starting from
the previously scrolled position, rather than from the top.
This could confuse users, as the first visible item would not
be the first actual match in the list.

          top when reopened (Girish Palya).

28e31f5d3d feat(options): default statusline expression #33036
Problem:
Default 'statusline' is implemented in C and not representable as
a statusline expression. This makes it hard for user configs/plugins to
extend it.

Solution:
- Change the default 'statusline' slightly to a statusline expression.
- Remove the C implementation.
