4d79edccdc Cleanup after #3007 #3020
'guioptions' is mentioned in the "Option Defaults" section of vim_diff,
and while its default did indeed change, it was only because the 't'
flag was removed. To make that clear, move its reference to the
"Removed Features" section instead.

Remove stray instance of 't' flag from GO_ALL. Most if not all of the
GO_* #defines are unused, but lets keep them for now as it's not clear
whether they won't be used by Nvim GUIs.

001209a2fe 'cpoptions': Remove "*" flag #2554
The "*" flag in 'cpoptions' makes the command :* execute the contents of
a register. Removed because
  1. the same functionality exists as :@
  2. it hides :* as a useful command-line shortcut for :'<,'>
  3. unlike :@ it cannot be used with the * register

3baba1e7bc refactor: Remove term modules and termcap options
- Removed term.c, term.h and term_defs.h
- Tests for T_* values were removed. screen.c was simplified as a
consequence(the best strategy for drawing is implemented in the UI layer)
- Redraw functions now call ui.c functions directly. Updates are flushed with
  `ui_flush()`
- Removed all termcap options(they now return empty strings for compatibility)
- &term/&ttybuiltin options return a constant value(nvim)
- &t_Co is still available, but it mirrors t_colors directly
- Remove cursor tracking from screen.c and the `screen_start` function. Now the
UI is expected to maintain cursor state across any call, and reset it when
  resized.
- Remove unused code

10b2a0e529 Remove 'ttyfast'
refs #1045 #1051

This was enabled by default a while ago (#1051), and has apparently not
created any issues. The amount of actual code related to it is tiny, so
it has been removed.

a1ce3a3acc provider: Major refactor
- Providers for features are now registered as a unit. For example, instead of
  calling `register_provider("clipboard_get")` and
  `register_provider("clipboard_set")`, clients call
`register_provider("clipboard")` and nvim will assume it implements all
  methods of the "clipboard" feature
- Bootstrapping code was removed. With the `api_spawn` function exposed to
vimscript, it's no longer necessary and will be handled by plugins
  distributed with nvim.
- Now the `has` function will return true if there's a live channel that
has registered as a provider for the feature.
- 'initpython'/'initclipboard' options were removed
- A new API function was exposed: `vim_discover_features` which returns an
object with information about pluggable features such as 'python' or
  'clipboard'

fba1d3b50f provider: Add support for clipboard registers.
This reimplements the '+'/'*' clipboard registers(both are aliases to the same
register, no dedicated storage for the X11 selection) on top of the provider
infrastructure.

This adds two new 'unnamedclip' option, has the same effect of setting
'clipboard' to 'unnamed/unnamedplus' in vim

The 'clipboard' option was not reused because all values(except 'unnamedplus')
seem to be useless for Neovim, and the code to parse the option was relatively
big. The option remains for vim compatibility but it's silently ignored.

486c8e37c1 provider: Add support for python commands/functions
This uses the provider/scripting infrastructure to reintroduce python support
through the msgpack-rpc API.

A new 'initpython' option was added, and it must be set to a command that will
bootstrap the python provider the first time it's needed.

958b3c5ffb Default 'encoding'-option from latin to utf-8 #935
Normally the default encoding does not have much effect, since it's
overridden by the environment.

But when it's not (test with "LANG= LC_ALL= C_CTYPE= nvim" and perform
":set encoding?"), utf-8 should be the default encoding for a 21st
century editor :).

85338fe1d5 Remove cryptography
As discussed in #694, vim encryption uses old,
obsolete algorithms that are poorly implemented.
Since insecure cryptography is worse than no
cryptgraphy, the community voted in favor of
removing all crypto.

Various alternatives to the old crypto is
being discussed in #701.

Closes #694.
