This is a port of these two patches combined:

Problem: Tests are silently skipped.
Solution: Throw an exception for skipped tests in more places.

Removes our custom no-inits from `$(RUN_VIMTEST)`, since we have
`$(NO_INITS)` now also.
Problem: Cannot see what digraph is used to insert a character.
Solution: Show the digraph with the "ga" command. (Christian Brabandt)
