Justin M. Keyes e7410048fa test: drop redundant clear() #33647 ...

Problem:
Tests call `clear()` even though `clear_notrace()` is already called in
a `before_each()` handler, wasting precious milliseconds!

Solution:
Remove redundant `clear()` calls.
