At best, it simply doesn't work, and if it does, it frequently warps the pointer to the wrong position as the window animates in/out of fullscreen mode. It can also inadvertently trigger the relative warp mode emulation mode on Wayland if a fullscreen transition occurs while the client has the pointer hidden.
